Will Sumolings get access to CNAME? And how will it be priced?

Why are you charging for CNAME? Other solutions provide it for free.
- Other solutions offer free CNAMEs in their LTD, but their servers are slow (Response time: 60ms vs. 30ms) and would collapse under any trivial DDoS attack. Gumlet uses premium CDNs like Fastly, Akamai, and Cloudfront that costs us real money. Gumlet can also offer free CNAMEs to everyone, but it would compromise product performance, and that is against our product values.
How is video storage calculated?
1. We will only count the input video length in the storage. Let’s say you upload a 10 minutes video and convert it to 5 different resolutions from 340p to 4K. We will store a total of 50 minutes of video, but your account limit will only be consumed against the original 10 minutes of upload.
Can I add additional storage minutes to my LTD plan if I run out?
1. Your videos are mission-critical, and we will make sure you can rely on Gumlet to continue streaming even if you run out of storage minutes. You can either delete videos to upload newer ones, or you can buy additional storage for a negligible cost. Feel free to reach out to us via chat for more information on the same.
Can I stream videos on WordPress, Wix and similar website hosting platforms?
1. Yes, you can stream your video across websites and apps with Gumlet Video. Gumlet offers iFramely, oEmbed, & Embedly support out of the box, letting you easily embed your videos. You can just copy the playback URL and paste on your platform to embed using the above integration tools. Additionally, you can copy Gumlet's own embed code, which will come with player customization and analytics integrated and paste it on any platform.
How will future features and updates be given to AppSumo users?
1. Our AppSumo license tiers are aligned with our Growth plan to provide visibility and predictability for future feature releases and updates. However, the limits for each tier in the AppSumo plan are very different from those in the Growth plan. Due to the range of our AppSumo plan and the corresponding limits, it isn't easy to make a direct comparison between the tiers here and the Growth plan based solely on the limits. For instance, Tier 5 includes features and additional limits that are not available in any of our current website pricing plans.
Are there any costs based on views and users?
1. There are no costs based on views. The limits are only around storage minutes and bandwidth usage. Tier 1 and 2 have limits on users, but from Tier 3 onwards, all plans offer unlimited users and unlimited views.
What does the product roadmap for feature releases look like, and what can Sumolings expect?
1. Based on the inputs and requests we received from Sumolings, we have created a product roadmap and have already started building out features on priority. Following are the requested features that we have already released within 4 weeks of the AppSumo launch
